What to Expect
Walking into a new church for the first time can feel like a big step — so here’s what your first Sunday at Hopeville will actually look like.
You’ll be greeted at the door by a real person, not a program. Our services run about 75–90 minutes and include worship music, a time of prayer, and a message that’s practical and rooted in Scripture — no matter where you’re starting from in your faith. Come early to grab a coffee and find a seat, or slip in right at 11 and no one will bat an eye.
There’s no spotlight moment, no standing up and introducing yourself, no pressure to sign anything. Just come, sit back, and see what it’s like to be part of this community.
Come As You Are

GOOD TO KNOW
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect?
At Hopeville, we’re simply a community of people learning how to follow Jesus in real life. We come from different backgrounds, carry different stories, and are all growing at our own pace.
How long is the service?
Service typically runs 65-70 minutes: 3 worship songs, a 25-30 minute sermon, and a closing worship song.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you want! Most people dress pretty casually with jeans and a tee, but Hopeville is a judgment-free place — Sunday best or sweats, all are welcome.
Is there a place for my kids?
Yes! Kidsville is a safe place for kids ages 6 weeks – 5th grade to learn more about Jesus. Questions? Email our Kids Director, Shalyta LaBoo, at sl@iamhopeville.com.
